Friends Of Dinosaur Isle

Bone Day

See full schedule below,

Bone day will be in two parts this year. The earlier session will be very much a hands-on event and is aimed at anyone who collects fossils and would like to know more about them. Drop in for free, and bring along any finds you want identifying. Scattered through the session will be short interactive talks with museum specimens to explain the important points. These sessions would also be suitable to anyone thinking about going out and looking for fossils for the first time. All ages welcome. This will be followed by a break with Cake and Coffee and a talk on The Anatomy of Dinosaurs, and how to tell exactly where your fossil fitted into the skeleton. Join us for some or all of the day.
